Nemo

Nemo is at once upright piano and
a state of mind.

The presence of the curved front allows for unprecedented and powerful enveloping sound distribution and diffusion. The curve is there to welcome the musician into an embrace that literally draws him or her into the intimacy of the piano. The porthole, a reference to the experience of travel, offers a glimpse inside the instrument, into the fascinating and mysterious world of the mechanics that generate the sound.
Each Nemo key is coated in FENIX NTM®, a material that is pleasant to the touch, fingerprint-resistant, extremely opaque, and has thermal repairability of surface micro-scratches.

The black keys are hand-finished, each one unique, underscoring the nature and craftsmanship of each and every aspect of this piano in which the soundboard is handcrafted from Fiemme Valley red spruce and the frame from a single cast iron casting, details that directly influence the quality of the sound and experience of the musician.
Of all the musical instruments, the pianoforte is perhaps the one that generates one of the strongest physical and environmental relationships with the musician. Playing the piano is often a journey, like standing on the bow of a ship or guiding a spaceship. Nemo is the child of these evocations, born out of a desire to generate a new intensity of musical experience.
